With bright red colouration this fish is highly short for Cichlid fans. Best kept in pairs and within a specialist tank, rather than community. Like a lot of Cichlids, we have successfully kept these fish within a community tank but its not recommended due to their aggressive nature. Plenty of hiding spots will see this fish flourish.
