Our Promise

We genuinely care about your experience and the welfare of our fish. Problems are rare, but if something isn’t right, we’ll always aim to resolve it quickly and fairly.

Live Arrival Guarantee

We’re confident in the quality of our fish and the care we take when packing every order.

That’s why we offer a Live Arrival Guarantee—so you can order with confidence.

If, in the unlikely event, any fish arrive deceased (DOA), we will happily offer a refund for those items.

When Will My Order Arrive?

We carefully schedule our livestock deliveries to ensure the best possible conditions during transit.

We despatch orders on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday:

  • Orders placed Friday to Monday (before 2pm Tuesday) → Arrive Wednesday morning

  • Orders placed Tuesday to Wednesday (before 2pm) → Arrive Thursday morning

  • Orders placed Wednesday to Thursday (before 2pm) → Arrive Friday morning

How Your Fish Are Packed

We take great care to ensure your fish arrive safely and in excellent condition.

Each order is:

  • Packed just prior to our carrier collecting

  • Shipped using a next-day AM delivery service to minimise time in transit

  • Placed in specialist rounded bags to prevent injury

  • Supplied with oxygen-rich water (1/3 water, 2/3 oxygen)

  • Double-bagged for added protection

  • Secured inside an insulated polystyrene box to maintain temperature

  • Cushioned with protective packaging to prevent movement

  • Clearly labelled with handling instructions

We also include care guidance to help you settle your new fish in safely.

A Few Important Things to Know

We always aim for a smooth, next-day delivery, but occasionally delays can happen due to factors outside our control, such as weather or courier issues.

  • Please make sure someone is available to receive the delivery, as livestock cannot be left unattended

  • If delivery is missed, the parcel will be returned to us, and we’ll be in touch to rearrange

For addresses outside UK Mainland, we may contact you to discuss alternative arrangements or any additional charges.

If Something Doesn’t Go to Plan

If your order is delayed or returned, we’ll work with you to arrange a new delivery date as quickly as possible.

While we cannot accept responsibility for courier-related delays or indirect losses, we genuinely care about your experience—so if there’s an issue, please get in touch and we’ll do everything we can to help.

What To Do If There’s an Issue

Simply:

  • Contact us within 2 hour of delivery

  • Provide a clear photo of the fish in the unopened bag

This allows us to resolve things quickly and get things put right for you.

A Few Simple Conditions

To keep things fair and ensure the wellbeing of the fish, the guarantee applies where:

  • The delivery is received on the first attempt

  • Someone is available to accept the parcel on arrival

What’s Not Covered

While we’ll always do our best to help, the guarantee does not cover:

  • Issues caused by unsuitable tank conditions or acclimatisation
